i’ve been going through some hard time for the past few weeks. i’m at war with myself and i’m struggling to make up my mind. my heart wants something and my mind another. do you know how that feels?
today is day 2 of my “new phase”, tears still roll down my cheeks whenever i have time alone to think. i thank god for friends around me who keep me entertained. without them i would be having a pity party by myself.
i will stay strong no matter what comes my way. i believe that God has the best plan for me.
We had a jumble sale called Buy4Love on 20/08/2011 @ JayaOne. It’s part of the Passionately You breast & cervical awareness campaign which aims to raise money for Assunta Foundation. It was held together with the other Flea Markets (Chic Pop, Bettr Weekend & Crafty Market).

Debrina & Joseph came to support the event and we had light brekkie at The Bee. They actually came to pick me home (such good sibs i have).

Just finished a korean drama last night called “Lie To Me” and i must say it’s really nice! I finished 16 episodes in 3days (stayed up till the wee hours in the morning) :p
Yes, i’m a sucker for romance, it makes me smile and cry.

My “pc less” days are finally over because i got myself an apple product (big grin) which is a 11″ MacBook Air. A gift to myself.

Back date a few months, in the month of May i had an opportunity to watch Kenny G live in KL. It was an unexpected blessing from a friend.
We were given two platinum seats for the performance, fumi was super excited and happy. He is a big fan of jazz music.
Bought a CD and had Kenny G sign on it.
Also in the month of May, i received another blessing which is a (pre-loved) LG air conditioning by fumi, Yay! He got it for me because i was complaining so much about the super warm Malaysian weather.
In June, SPS youth had our second youth camp in Bayu Beach Resort Port Dickson and it was really fun.

Fumi & I attended a catholic wedding for the first time. My colleague Debbie Lai tied the knot with Joshua Thong. They make a very cute and happy couple! Congratulations.

In July, i did a health screening and almost fainted when they took my blood samples (so embarrassing it was only a few ml). The medical report came back and i had a slightly high cholesterol reading >< so am cutting down on meaty and greasy food these days. conclusion: thin people can have high cholesterol level reading, eat healthy.
I had a breakthrough in my work too, i took up the challenge to do a presentation in Public Mutual S’ban. Taking baby steps to come out of my comfort zone.
Sports club had an interesting sport outing which was Batting Challenge at 1Utama. It looked easy but when i tried it was tiring and stressful. Felt bit demotivated because i didn’t score much, but it was a good experience none the less.

P&W had a dinner at Fireworks S’ban to thank Joseph for being MD for a year.

Yearly my company takes part in a CSR campaign called Passionately You (Breast & Cervical Cancer Awareness). It’s a joint campaign between AA, PJLA, Assunta & JayaOne. This year i attended the press launch which was held in Assunta Hospital. During the launch i met some celebrities including Amber Chia, Rina Omar & Farah Fauzana.

Another exciting thing which i did was Laser Tag at I-City Shah Alam. I joined fumi’s cg outing and there were 20 of us. The game is similar to paintball but instead of paint bullets it’s laser (less painful) very suitable for ladies. I did fairly well in this game (proud of self). Although each game only takes 10minutes it was thrilling and really fun. We played till almost midnight.

double dated and went to Levain to try out the food, I’ve heard of it many times and finally tasted it. erm nice environment!
okay now skipping along to March.
It was JoeKing & Christy’s birthday and we had a simple celebration at Delicious 1u with some close friends.
Oh we watched Beastly too before the meal.. must show picture lol
enough talking about food & fun, moving on to more serious stuffs..ahem.
okay, so one fine day in march (can’t remember the exact date) VP asked me into the office, heart skipping fast!!
had some small talk and was handed a letter.. cheng cheng.. i got my yearly increment
nothing much to shout about but still i must Praise the Lord, He is my provider. must say this “serve God peeps for He is GOOD”.
oh btw, marketing dept has promoted two accounts specialist to HOD.. wohoo!!
In April shortly after April Fool’s day..
I had the opportunity along with some colleagues to witness something amazing. Our itinerary was KL-TIOMAN-SIN-KL all in a day. Initially fumi thought i was playing a prank lol but it’s real!
also in April, fumi brought me to Malacca on a day trip to Cari Makan!
we had chicken rice balls, cendol, asam laksa, rojak, crepe, starbucks & satay celup.
the other place i visited was I-city, company has a subsidiary there and last Friday was the “makan-makan” night.
