亲人- 叮当
my drama craze is back.. this time it’s a Taiwanese drama called 下一站,幸福!!
my favorite song for now is this..
(<3 the lyrics)
别打开 礼物的缎带
bie da kai li wu de duan dai
最初充满期待 最后都腐败
zui chu chong man qi dai zui hou dou fu bai
别打开 午夜的电台
bie da kai wu ye de dian tai
别让情歌反覆再愚弄
bie rang qing ge fan fu zai yu nong
而爱 并没有教给我生存
er ai bing mei you jiao gei wo sheng chun
只教我交易虚荣给天真
zhi jiao wo jiao yi xu rong gei tian zhen
可是爱 让我们变成陌生人
ke shi ai rang wo men bian cheng mo sheng ren
却变不了更高尚的灵魂
que bian bu liao geng gao shang de ling hun
不要吻我 只要抱着我
bu yao wen wo zhi yao bao zhe wo
不要爱我 做我的亲人
buyao ai wo zuo wo de qin ren
把手借我 一天一分钟
ba shou jie wo yi tian yi fen zhong
做我最亲密的亲人
zuo wo zui qin mi de qin ren
不是谁的情人 谁的某某某
bu shi shei de qing ren shei de mo mo mo
就算我 全身湿透透
jiu suan wo quan sheng shi tou tou
我也不再被谁 牵着鼻子走
wo ye bu zai bei shei qian zhe bi zi zou
如果我 还握住拳头
ru guo wo hai wo zhu quan tou
可能我怕我的梦飞走
ke neng wo pa wo de meng fei zou
而爱 并不如你想的万能
er ai bing bu ru ni xiang de wan neng
不能让我们不再战争
bu neng rang wo men bu zai zhan zheng
可是爱 连慈悲也没多慈悲
ke shi ai lian ci bei ye mei duo ci bei
谁爱越深越容易被牺牲
shei ai yue sheng yue rong yi bei xi sheng
不要吻我 只要抱着我
bu yao wen wo zhi yao bao zhe wo
不要爱我 做我的亲人
bu yao ai wo zuo wo de qin ren
把手借我 一天一分钟
ba shou jie wo yi tian yi fen zhong
让我还敢做我的梦
rang wo hai gan zuo wo de meng
做我梦中伟大的微笑的英雄
zuo wo meng zhong wei da de wei xiao de ying xiong
不要吻我 只要抱着我
bu yao wen wo zhi yao bao zhe wo
不要爱我 做我的亲人
bu yao ai wo zuo wo de qin ren
把手借我 一天一分钟
ba shou jie wo yi tian yi fen zhong
让我还敢做我的梦
rang wo hai gan zuo wo de meng
做我梦中伟大的微笑的英雄
zuo wo meng zhong wei da de wei xiao de ying xion

my weekend away from home
Woke up early on Saturday morning thinking should i or should i not go back home this weekend?? My dilemma started because there was an event (Elken Quacky Run) on Sunday morning at 8am & a wedding lunch reception in Malacca at 2pm that i had to attend. My typical weekends are normally spent with my family & church friends. After some thought and chat with mummy i decided to stay back in PJ and not rush it all.
My Saturday morning began with me going to Jaya One for breakfast at Eatz before my hair cut, food has yet to arrive because it was still early. So instead of breakfast, i went to get my hair done then had brunch @ Eatz. Spent my afternoon doing some unproductive things like facebooking, napping & reading blogs. Did some good things though, finally finished “to kill a mocking bird” after months of reading =p
In the evening, i went to CHCKL with Anthony and heard a good message by Ps. Kevin Loo. After that we went to this quaint place called Snowflake – Taiwanese Dessert Secrets @ SS15 in Subang Jaya which is really famous. “It will be our appetizer before dinner” says Anthony. It was my 1st visit, read about it in some blogs before this and thought it would be good to go try. Ant ordered something called Best Seller which cost rm5.90 (a huge bowl with ice shavings, grass jelly & some orangey & white chewy thingy) portion enough for 2. it was a unique combination i would say and oh.. by the way this shop is really different from others because it has a self-service system where customers get an alien looking thingy which vibrates, indicating your order is ready for collection.. haha!! who would have thought of that?? it took really long to get our orders done.
Grabbed this picture from google images. for illustration purpose in case you don’t have a clue of what i was saying.

Our dinner was @ Petaling Street, the famous beef noodle stall snug in an alley somewhere in between a hawker centre and the night market stalls. My 1st time eating there too =) it has a special taste, very different from Seremban’s cooking style, the beef noodle in Seremban still my favourite!!
Petaling Street noodles.. also from google images =p

minced beef with yellow noodles
not in the picture (a bowl of soup with meat and beef balls) that we ordered
on Sunday 25th October, i woke up feeling unwell (sore throat & flu). Albert came early to pick me for Elken Quacky Run but i wasn’t ready, told him to wait 5mins but ended up it was almost 20mins *red face*

pretending that i actually joined the 4.5km run..

(the paper i’m holding says I’m Running For.. AA Foundation)
after the event, we got ready in the office for the wedding @ malacca mahkota hotel.

my only disappointment was that i missed out the yummilicious food Malacca had to offer in Jonker Street!! buwuwu.. *waves byebye to cendol, asam laksa, pineapple tarts, satay celup, chicken rice balls, and the nadeje crepe* other then that i had a good weekend.
Okay time to stop now it’s way past my bed time, hopes no more pimple pop up.
Oyasumi!!

wedding bells ringing..
when i was still studying all i hear from friends are the new gadgets they bought, the cool and trendy hangout places to go visit, the amazing food experience, the wonderful holidays, the shopping and the carefree life that a student possesses.
but as i am now in the working environment, the news are about investments, houses, cars & marriage!!
1 by 1 the colleagues in my dept or in the company are getting engaged and on the road to start a family. when i start receiving “bombs” i know i’m in a different level now.. no more fooling around..things are getting serious these days.
and because i am already on this topic (wedding).. i started paying attention to bridal magazines, wedding photography, and most recently (an hour ago) wedding trailers. *the trailers were really good, didn’t notice that there were such demands before this*
i love everything lovey-dovey from books-movies-music-blogs-videos.. u name it. i cry when there are touching scenes, i envy happy loving couples, i dream and dwell in them too much sometimes. ahh!! it makes me jealous.
sometimes watching love story stuffs make my day happier and sometimes it doesn’t, but today it did..
for those of you who are like me.. do watch this trailer.. it’s not on youtube though only on facebook

the raya trip
during the raya break, i joined the wong’s for their family outing. got to see bf extra a few days =p
the agendas:
day 1
1) dig/look for lala’s on the seashore, supposedly a fun thing to do
2) have steamboat seafood dinner
3) drop by tiara hotel pd for some fun & fellowship
day 2
1) dim sum breakfast at a famous nilai restaurant
2) bukit tinggi french village & japanese tea house
3) aquaria – klcc
the wong’s were very adventurous and focused, covered all the above in 2days. if the chin’s were to do this it would be spread out to 3-4days haha.
uncle wong was really generous, he paid for all our meals, our entrance fee, traveling expenses, everything =)
i think i gained a few kilo’s during the holidays. the food we had especially the dim sum was really really really good!! we had such a full breakie that we skipped lunch altogether. imagine the amount of food that we ate.
pictures taken in day 1 wasn’t pretty, below are shots taken on day 2.

this is the place where we had our breakfast (looking grand isn’t it??)

mr wong our main sponsor throughout the outing smiling for the camera
after the dim sum, we headed straight for bukit tinggi french village, been wanting to go there for a long time and finally the opportunity came =)
the entrance ticket was quite pricey tho @ RM10 per head.
the place wasn’t as pretty as i expected it to be. it had a main street with all the European looking buildings and that’s all there is, however taking pictures there turned out looking quite nice =p as though we’ve been touring some place in europe.

after the tour to Europe we went to Asia and visited Japanese Tea House =p

i like the highlands more as compared to seasides and was happy being there, it rained slightly and it made the weather cooler.
our final stop before dinner was KLCC, not to shop but to watch the under water creations. it’s my 2nd visit to Aquaria and that’s why i didn’t take any pictures =p
for dinner we went to a quaint place in kl which was introduced by “ah sien” haha.. the dishes were cooked in old fashioned style and it was quite nice.
had a full trip from morning till night, tiring but happy!!
THANK YOU =)

living the high life Pt 1
We must have been doing something right hehe.. that’s why we were blessed to stay in Pangkor Laut Resort!! =p
2 weeks ago on Sept 19, the 6 of us were on a journey to Setiawan-Lumut-PLR. When i knew that we were going to PLR i immediately applied for annual leave even though it was 4months away. i was that excited and eager to go.
The stay was awesome, we felt like royalty for 2days!!

White speed boat owned by the resort to ferry the guest from Lumut jetty. Picture of daddy getting on the boat with some help. The boat ride took about 30 minutes, upon arriving at the jetty we were greeted by the staffs.

the staffs awaits
i like the color theme of the resort very much, earthly colors soothing to the eye =) matching the sea & forest really well..

the spacious lobby where we all wait patiently to check in. wet towels & chilled drinks would be served upon arrival. just behind the lobby is the library. filled with interesting reads and comfortable sofa’s.

i updated my twitter in the library while waiting for the room keys.. was suppose to get away from the bustling city but still stayed connected via the internet. *shy* it’s hard for me not to go online.

Loads of pictures to share but i can’t possibly upload them here. will pick a few starting with the room mum, elayna & me stayed.

nicely made bed with fluffy feather pillows.
after unpacking and some rest, it was time for dinner at the Feast Village. Ben & Elayna had a big appetite, they feasted and finished the 3 course meal.

the above are appetizers, moving on are main dishes =)
*the connection is really slow this time of the day, so will update the rest tomorrow* nights!!
Update: Erm.. i have too many photos to put up, so i would suggest you to click here to view the rest of them *it’s me being lazy*

Buka Puasa..
On Sunday, for the first time i experienced “buka puasa” @ Klana Resort =)
the buffet was held at the Grand Klana Ballroom which usually caters for big functions. it has been years since my last visit there, i think it was for Christmas celebration. The Ramadhan buffet was a spread of asian food (mostly malaysian). from rendangs to satays to ulam to kuihs to desserts to soups to fruits.. and the list goes on.
strangely i didn’t eat a lot that night despite the wonderful food before me. *maybe i’m weight conscious nowdays*
what is a buffet when you have small appetite right?? wasted!! i only ate 4 rounds if i counted correctly T______________T
Sharing food pictures.. (forgot the names, so feel free to guess.. i will try to vaguely describe them)
1)
(didn’t pay much attention to it, busy snapping some pictures before sitting down to eat..err i think it’s cabbage soaked in coconut milk or something.. haha!!) i somehow forgot about it and didn’t even try it..
2)
(fried anchovies with red chili.. i didn’t try this either..)
3)
(should be pumpkin drenched in soup or sauce, didn’t taste this too.*shifts leg*)
4)
(Gulai Kawah? i googled it and found it means beef stew aka “kenduri kahwin” in Kelantan. )
5)
(joeking helping himself with the nasi briani.. prawns & mussels.. look how big the bowl is)
6)
(chicken meat..with.. i dunno how to describe the sauce.)
7)
(ayam masak merah.. which tasted really good)

(rendang mutton)
9)
( prawns cooked with asam & tomatoes & lady’s fingers)
10)
(kuih-muih)
11)
(dessert bar =p)
12)
(daddy & mummy taking greens..ulam & salads)
the above are some food pictures that i took in the ballroom, was too lazy to take the rest outside =p
food outside: otak-otak, roasted lamb, ikan bakar, asam laksa, ais batu campur, satays, murtabak, roti canai, fried kuew tiao, mee goreng, meehoon soto ayam, dim sum..
the only down side that night was that i couldn’t taste everything in the buffet.. slight feeling of regret now.
With the food + place i had a feeling that we were attending some malay wedding =D
ahh!! in summary we all had a good meal & good fellowship =) hehe ptl!!

where have i been..
Hello..
News flash.. err everybody I’m still alive and kicking, so don’t worry..
I’ve been told that my blog isn’t interesting to read anymore..hmm sad right.. maybe i should start writing more fun stuffs here to entertain my readers.
Lately i was tied down with work hence the lack of blogging. When i’m home i spend the remaining hours facebooking and doing random stuffs. Okay, i know my excuses are not solid but then it’s the truth T_T
Actually i have many things to blog about like the CHC anniversary dinner that i attended, the little birthday celebration we had for Alex at Look Out Point with W33 members, the recent SPS food fair, how i fell sick again, the “retake” of family photos, the pre-farewell lunch we had with Priscilla at Pasta Italia, the increasing H1N1 cases, etc etc..
But since they are old news now.. let’s just leave it at that.
So what’s the most updated piece of info that is news worthy?? Let’s see.. ohh.. marketing team had a new arrival on Tuesday. A young guy and i really mean young because he is only 21years old, he makes the rest of us feel so old. He’s the 2nd guy in marketing surrounded by all the ladies =P
Yesterday we had lunch with him at a vegetarian restaurant at Jaya One named Kechara.
I intended to post up some pictures, but my pc is having some problems with the software and probably it’s affecting my internet already. My firefox and internet explorer won’t open properly. Did you know just to post this up i had to restart my pc for like 4 times ?? T_T
When my pc is back to it’s usual and functioning state i will be posting pictures, so till then.. Good night!!
Update: Hehe!! PC has been reformatted (thank you Caleb & Ant) so i can upload the pictures lo.

the menu

the interior

the food

the vegan's

* the food was good but the price was even better.. lol. we had a good time, thank you AA =D
